Applying for a China visa

In order to apply for a visa for business travel to China you need to submit the following information to the Chinese Embassy.

- Invitation letter from a company in China such as ChinaGreen
- Confirmed flight & accommodation in China
- Completed & signed application form
- Photo
- Passport with at least 6 months validity
- Applicable fee

Multi-entry visas are generally not available for a first-time application. Its advisable to allow at least 5 working days for your application to be processed. The embassy is open Monday to Thursday from 9 till noon and applications have to be submitted and collected in person - i.e. a postal service is not available.
